Making the switch to XHTML Strict

Posted August 12th, 2011 in XHTML by admin

Over the next few weeks, I will be working exclusively on my main 3 sites – while I do not feel like posting the links here, they are in the Legal (1) and Web Hosting (2) market. Yesterday, for no real apparent reason, I decided to switch to XHTML Strict. I was a little disappointed when I noticed that my main site homepage was invalid with a double digits number of errors. Nonetheless, it did not take too long to get fixed. As I will be working on all the pages of the websites, optimizing them, I will go through validating each, one at time, as I work through them.

Why switch to XHTML Strict? This article from That Web Guy sums it up pretty well: Why you should be using XHTML Strict
